The Development Fund Committee at Sacred Heart School was established in 1989 by our former principal, Sr. Eileen Kean. The committee was formed with the critical mandate of raising necessary funds to support our school. Turning her focus toward enhancing the long-term sustainability of Catholic education in our parish elementary school, Sr. Eileen realized the importance of maintaining the affordability of tuition rates for our families.
Today's Development Committee members provide their time and talents for the benefit of Sacred Heart School by organizing a variety of events. Major fundraising efforts include our Annual Appeal, monthly Sacred Heart Community Days at Hoss's Steak & Seafood House, the annual Holiday Fruit Sale, a Spring Flower Sale, The Wine in the Woods Festival, Race for Education, Wing Night, and the 5K Chapel Run.
